We want to make sure all your information is accurate. Having relevant and correct information on your Enhanced Profile is very important not only for getting more appointment requests but also for getting relevant requests.
The following fields on your Healthgrades profile are editable through Sesame and have a turnaround time of about 4 to 5 business days:
- Date of Birth (used to determine age displayed)
- Office Location Address, Phone, and Fax
- Care Philosophy
- Insurance Accepted
- Conditions Treated
- Procedures Performed
- States Where Licensed
- Undergraduate School
- Medical School
- Other Education
- Languages Spoken
The following information can be updated through Sesame but may take at least 7 to 10 business days to update:
- Practice Name
- Practice Logo
- Office number associated with Healthgrades tracking number
Updating Your Name
The name that Healthgrades displays on your Enhanced Profile is determined by the name listed on your National Provider ID. If you’ve recently changed your NPI information, Sesame can request that Healthgrades update your profile to match within 5 to 7 business days. However, all changes to your name must be initiated through the NPI database. At this time, Healthgrades names must display as First Name, Middle Initial, Last Name.
The easiest way to update your profile is to use our Healthgrades Profile Update form. Please provide as much detail as possible regarding the changes you’d like to make so we can complete your request efficiently and accurately.
